This course will help develop your knowledge and skills and offer a route into Higher Education via the Access programme.
You'll learn communication skills relevant to a career in health and social care.
You'll also improve your research skills and ability in academic writing.
The course covers areas such as:
- Career planning
- Sociology
- Mental health
- Biology
There are written assignments on this course but no exams.
You'll need basic English literacy skills to be able to study on this course.
Course tutors have extensive experience in preparing students for:
- Further and Higher Education programmes
- Employment in related sectors
Work placements are a great way of using the skills you've learnt and improving your job prospects.
We'll support you in finding a placement if you choose to do one.
Successfully complete this course and you can move on to whichever Level 3 Access to HE programme you want.
