You will conduct weekly fitness tests to improve your own personal well being and health so that you are productive and effective within any role you are aspiring to go into within the Public/Protective Services. You will learn daily routines to be successful!

There are two externally assessed units on this course. We have 100% achievement rate of learners who undertake these assessments.

You'll take part in fitness tests with your lecturer, complete mile and a half runs, press ups and sit ups to ensure a consistent level of fitness is met as per entry requirements of many service roles.

You'll carry out security searches to understand protocols when dealing with members of the public to ensure high standards of security. There are role plays with different situations to put you under pressure to ensure you build resilience for future roles and are able to cope within pressured environments.

You'll develop personal progression plans - we guide you to ensure you have a clear action plan to move towards your intended career path and review this each week to check on your contribution.
