You'll gain an understanding of the initial steps needed to create a business start-up, including developing your business plan, and the legal and financial considerations required.
We'll also cover the development of a marketing plan, needed to market your start-up successfully.
This course will be assessed by a portfolio of your work, submitted to show your understanding. There is no external exam.
This short course is designed for those aged 19+ who are looking to gain an understanding of business start-ups or to launch their own business.
You'll need a good level of English and Maths which will be assessed as part of your enrolment.
On successful completion of this course, you could progress to a Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in a business-related topic such as Accounting & Finance, Business, Administration, Law or Enterprise.
