If you're an adult thinking about studying a full-time Business course, but want a taster to see if a career in business is for you, then this short course provides a great introduction.
You'll gain an understanding of the skills and knowledge needed to work in a range of business-related roles such as sales, marketing, finance, customer service or administration. The transferrable business skills you'll learn can also be used in many other careers.
The course will enhance you skills and knowledge in:
- Working with others
- Understanding businesses
You'll also develop employability skills such as career planning and preparing for job interviews, and will be able to explore your future career options in business with the support of our expert tutors and Careers Advisors.
You'll need to complete a competence-based self-assessment from the work place or a realistic work environment, which is assessed internally. There is no external exam.
This course is designed for anyone aged 19+ who is working in, or looking to work in, a wide range of business operational roles.
You'll need a good level of English and Maths which will be assessed as part of the enrolment process for this course.
On successful completion, you could progress to a Level 2 Apprenticeship or a Level 1 or Level 2 BTEC Business course.
