Students' Union

Students ARE the Students’ Union – without them the SU wouldn’t exist.

The Barking & Dagenham College Students’ Union is here to support and represent you during your time at college. It meets with staff, governors and external bodies to make sure students get their say in how the college is run.

It’s also involved in organising activities, clubs, societies and trips – helping you make the most of your time with us.

But it’s also part of the NUS – the National Union of Students. So it can bring student issues to the attention of a nationwide organisation as well as raising them internally.

Your NUS discount card (TOTUM) entitles you to discounts at certain shops and with specific companies – saving you money on things like transport, clothing and food.

You can apply for the card here.

The SU – on your side

The Students’ Union offers support and advice to students who experience difficulties or problems whilst at college. It can provide representation in the event that it’s required.

Speak to the Union Officers in the SU office within the Student Lounge area, Rush Green campus.
